  • I would like to point out a special measure in this work: At page 60 (of 69), first system (here: position 66:03) there is the same [transposed] melody line which is the opening "melody" of "For Philip Guston" of four years after Trio..

  • @johnnyfx82 Yes I've noticed that, its quite wonderful!

  • it's page 34 in the score!

  • Not the whole piece is quiet as it seems, there really IS a fff measure in this work: page 24 of 69, 3rd system, measure 7, position in video above: 20:41

  • @pbaron23 This is a repetition of my comment of January: This recording contains the interpretation of the Ives Ensemble: Josje ter Haar, violin • Job ter Haar, cello • John Snijders, piano. Issued on HatHut label, HatArtCD 6195. Obviously discontinued by the label but still available 2nd hand.

Further, there are two more complete recordings of this work: "New Classical Adventure" and the other one is "Feldman Edition 10" DVD/2CD, Mode Records, Mode 216.

  • who are playing? I am interested.

    Thank you.

  • 35:16

  • Love the little "dance" after a section with long held tones....ca. 0:35:16....

  • need it. Thank you.

  • ...read 1:06:03 instead of 66:03...
