@JohnQRandom The practice facilities issue was an exaggeration made public by Stephen Colbert for ratings. As far as banning the US flag on "Grainville Street" (try Granville Street), if your facts are as accurate as your spelling, I need not comment further. Selling ZERO tickets to US fans for the vs Canada games-not true. Besides-you lost anyhow, we saved you the money-you're welcome! Oh, and yes-we do take our flag around the world. Insecure? Yes we are-of being mistaken as American!

And you my friend are a typical Canadian. Your attitude was criticized by other nations as well. Booing European curlers, not making practice facilities available to athletes of other nations (besides Canada of course), banning the US flag on Grainville Street, and selling ZERO tickets to US fans for the vs Canada hockey games. Sorry guy, nobody in the world is more insecure and patriotic than Canadians. You're the only people on Earth who take their flag everywhere they go.

@Jimmy3rdperson Yeah right, a Canadian General was 2nd in Command of 35 000 American Soldiers in 2004-2005 in the Iraq War, Now he is Canada's top Soldier of the Canadian Military, look up Walter Natynczyk.

I don't understand how disqualifying Canada from hosting the Olympics would make anything better. Kicking Canada out beats the purpose of uniting nations. On top of all that, what Country doesn't flaunt itself when given the opportunity? Half the time whenever something about a country is broadcast it's something like war or a natural disaster. Who can blame Canada for wanting to show the world what a great nation it is. And you have to remember there's always been tension between Canada and US
