@WickedIntent1 Vector is ok.That's more for the new age thrash. It,s cool and I dig it it,s better then half that shit out today they call metal. But it goes into to many directions and his voice is to scratchy. They are not quite on the same level as voivod musically. They are more tech thrash.

THIS IS A LEGENDARY THING.

At the beginning the rusty gates of industial hell open to swallow its victims. Or ... maybe I'm crazy.

@bigtime360 Look into Vektor they go a step further than Voivod if you ask me check out their song Forest of Legend, Oblivion or any of their new stuff

@bigtime360 .... i first heard this album at the age of 16, and now i'm 40... and you have very good taste in eclectic metal... (voivod was heavily influenced by pink floyd)... you might also like the album by Tiamat-- "Wildhoney")... they don't sound anything alike, but PF was the main inspirational force behind both.

@superyid2010 Yeah, they were Canadian. Skinny Puppy is also Canadian, and I love them as well.

bigtime360,i gotta agree, simply fucking awesome band.im not sure but i think their canadian arent they?
-
@bigtime360 no, theres more intelligent metal out there, but this is definitely not for simple-minded people.

huge sound!! Always been a fan of these weird sounds!
Was Voivod the most intelligent metal band that ever existed? I don't know. What I do know is that this album was released when I was 12, and at 35 I still cant' find anything to touch it. This album still owns everything else.
