Today, many challenges are found in the integration of new technologies (including Mobile Phones and Smart Phones, iPod, Pocket PCs, interactive Television, Game Boy, Tablet PCs etc.), especially in their psychological and pedagogical application. In order to gain clear benefits for the end-users, it is essential to combine both Psychology and Computer Science and never separate research and development. Results and achievements gained within psychological studies must be considered in engineering at the systemic level. This means that software engineers and psychological researchers must work closer together. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) provides a traditional bridge, which emphasizes research and Usability Engineering (UE) where the focus is on development. However, if HCI is extended for education, it is necessary to extend the bridge to include solid educational and psychological research. However, a great deal of research is necessary in the future to ensure that design and development are based on both the psychological and educational needs of the individual end-users and not on what the technology or the programmer is capable of doing. This talk shows some examples of pervasive e-Education in order to motivate contemplation and future cooperation. While we must always consider that human education cannot be replaced by technology -- it can be meaningfully supplemented.
