Oh, because someone is Christian means that they think the Earth is six thousand years old? You feel compelled to make this a social issue, don't you? How is income growth rate from 1945 relevant today? Please, tell me. First, I'll tell you why we had better income rates back then: Our economy was not regulated. We did not have price controls until the Nixon administration, which FAILED. Wage control laws don't increase people's purchasing power. They only increase wage on paper.

What an ignorant and moronic statement.

In all income categories except the 95th percentile from 1948-2005 income growth rates under Democratic presidents exceeded income growth rates under Republican ones.

    That's a fuckin' fact.

Then again, brain-dead fuckstick Republicans - many who believe Earth is 6000 years old - have ZERO credibility about ANYTHING because they have no concept of facts. By definition.

Democrats are typically very uneducated in the field of national economics. You don't understand how a market works, do you?

TheRatmaster said, "lets cut the military budget and spend it on education and infrastructure and for food for the needy "

Yea, you're right. We don't need the military. No one would even think of attacking the U.S.

    Have you woke up yet?

This betrays an astonishing elitism: that the federal government is perfect and requires no reform. That is why they have no plan to make our government leaner and more efficient. The President had 18 months to develop reforms to improve the government, but instead he announced furloughs of federal workers as a political cudgel. Yet, his golf weekend at the yacht club with Tiger Woods cost taxpayers over a million dollars—enough money to save 341 federal workers from furlough. Sen Sessions

so taking money by force that someone earns and giving it to someone else is democratic?? How so? The govt. is not a charity , if you want charity go to a church or private charity. Get rid of social security and medicare , let the people manage their own money , why do I need the govt. to manage my retirement or medical savings? The govt. is totally inept (that means not competent) so why do I want them in the money mgt. business? Stop looking for someone else to take care of you!
