Actually it does matter. Gammoudi is using poor form, costing him energy and time as his head bobs back and forth. A modern running coach would correct that ASAP.

Gammoudi always ran that way and it was good enough to 4 olympic medals, so to suggest some 'modern' coach would correct his form is ludicrous. You don't need to fix what's not broken.

I don't give a care if he always ran that way or how many medals he won, he is using poor form and when he does that it's costing him time. A good running coach would correct that immediately!

You don't care how many medals he's won? It's a good thing you (or some 'good' running coach) weren't instructing him then, 'cause Gammoudi was one of the pioneers of the African long distance running revolution that changed the face of the sport. Guys like you would have advocated fixing Bob Hayes sprint form too 'cause ran pigeon-toed or Michael Johnson cause he ran too upright and didn't get enough knee lift...absurd.

just saw billly mills give a speech yesterday across town... really good talk, shook his hand and got an autograph too
