@estbroadway like a said, the base GT-R beats the ZR1 round track; but to be fair to compare corvettes and GT-R's one most compare the best GT-R and the best ZR1. So, again to be fair, one must compare the Spec-V with the ZR1; in which case, the ZR1 is destroyed. I have ridden in ZR1s and GT-Rs, never a spec v though, and the GT-R came off as a much nicer faster car.

@estbroadway no, just look at the track times. GT-R always wins, and take into fact that this is the bone stock base GT-R and the ZR1 is the best version of the Corvette. To be fair the spec-V is the ZR1 equivalent for GT-R's and that hands down beats the ZR1 in the 1/4 mile and track.

the zr1 is more expensive though. $110,000+ for a Vette? NO WAY!!!!

The 2012 GT-R with 530 HP will:

a) smoke this 2010 GT-R and

b) keep up with the ZR1 in the 1320, for $20,000 less
