Elizabeth Lambert #15 was unfairly singled out as the most outrageous player of the game, however, at a closer look, Ms. Lambert, in at least two instances, was on the receiving end of personal fouls before she punched and pulled hair. Firstly, BYU's Carlee Payne, #7, elbowed Ms. Lambert in the chest (over the heart) before she got punched in the back; secondly, BYU's Cassidy Shamway, #21, grabbed hold of Ms. Lambert's shorts and pulled them up hard in the groin region, only then did Ms. Lambert quite naturally respond with a hair pull that sent #21 reeling to the ground where Ms. Low Blow #21 belonged. See for yourselves.

  • You can retaliate with an equivalent shoving or tugging in soccer but you can't f**king pull the other player to the ground!! Understand the sport before you go on making these stupid videos!

  • @the23rdstar Says you.

  • I agree with the discription. Not condoning her actions "turn the other cheek" but she was certainly provoked. Maybe intentionally.

  • @ambigroove That's exactly what I meant.

  • @brokkenstar it's a load of bullshit! if you can't control your temper even when provoked, you don't belong on the pitch. you wanna prove something - do it with your top game. any fucking idiot can lash out.

  • @lightbringer1982 You sound pretty angry yourself!

  • @lightbringer1982 Well you're using "!" denoting an elevated state and your comment is quite heated, you are in fact lashing out, without being provoked. So what kind of idiot does that make you? If you can't control your temper, don't post on YouTube.

  • Number 15 should be banne from playing soccer, ever again. Hahahaha its funny when you watch it again

  • Cautioned? Are u fucking kidding me?

  • I find this laughable, as both a referee and a football player, Lambert was totally in the wrong. Jostling happens in the sport, it always has and always will, but she was so over the top with her retaliation. And really, the "elbow" wasn't hardly anything at all. Watch football at all levels, and you will see FAR worse in any set piece preparation.

It's too bad that you can't seem to see that her reactions were way over the top. Not to mention, that several of her fouls were pure recklessness.

  • Lambert should've let the REF take care of the game, and the REF easily had more than enough reasons to issue more than just 1 caution.

  • Too funny, the ad that displayed at the end of the video with the usual "replay video" button located above was for some permanent hair removal clinic..... I think I'm seeing a career path opening up for Lambert (LOL). I do agree, she was attacked and I'm guessing that BYU knew that she had a bit of a short fuse and tried to light it. After all, what is it worth to have 1 more player than your opponent in a final?

  • So with this logic if someone grabs my arm I can shoot them, cause: hey I was provoked!

Doesnt really work does it? If she gave back in the same manner as she was provoked thats fine, but she did it 10x worse = not ok

  • i need a wife like her..

  • @brokkenstar Physical contact is part of the game, retaliation is not.

  • at 1:07, you can clearly see the bride of chucky hiding in there...
