@SuperAlexrios you are evil because you are mocking the crucifix. it is not pagan.
-
I do not like crucifixes as it portrays a defeated Christ. He is no longer on that cross, He has risen from the grave and defeated death. Yes we are to remember His sacrifice, but, we are to live in His resurrected life.
I wear a simple wooden cross around my neck, or better put, a " tav ". Which is the last letter of the Ancient Hebrew alphabet(oldest script) the means: covenant, to seal, sign, cross.
Don't let the world fool you into thinking it is of pagan origin.

a crucifx is a pagan simbol therefore is evil ,So much ignorance among christians

Dumb movie, how can it NOT start with the Egyptian ANKH that gave origin to the christian element of torture that thousands upon thousands of brainwashed people adore today?
-
@ocmozfan: Yet, there is evidence that outside the temple the israelites had statues of pomegranetes.. Why would they make an image that was considered graven?
-
I Believe many years in this Cross but I am not religious!
-
@ocmozfan In the directions for the building of the ark God gave Moses there were instructions for two cherubim. The early Christians drew on the catocomb walls images of Jesus the Good Shepherd and of Mary. The Church is the teacher that recomends images to us and she does not err as she was given her teaching role from her Founder Jesus. Blessings - Rene

Please, what church? and what people?Today in the good USA and many other countries people "worship" lots of idols:Example: Money, Fame, Prestige, Big Homes, Jobs, Friends,Sex, ECT...I can go on and on.
No it doesn't, it remains the symbol of self-sacrificing love for the sins of mankind John 3:16)...That the enemies of Christ and His Church managed to infiltrate, betray trust of innocence and cast doubt does not disprove the claims of Christ nor His Church from and among the faithful...More atrocious incidents may follow, but do not believe that the Church at large condones or accepts the grievous injury done to Christ's most precious.
