'i couldn't keep you, but i'll keep my word'
for my little girl myra, who we lost on the 26th of June.
She was hit by a car and killed on impact, she went to sleep without any pain, it was us who felt the pain for her. She was only 13 months old.
i still remember her stepping outside for the first ever time, she was never 'mine' and i never owned her, yet to me she really was the puppy I never had.

Life is so cruel sometimes, but once you've accepted there's no way of bringing her back you just have to keep going. And that's where ebony comes into her own.

I came back from a school trip, and found out about Myra's passing on the Tuesday. Eb's not the kind of horse that will play up because you left her for five days. She's the sort of horse that will take your mind of things, put the smile back on your face and make you do that little puppy proud.
God only knows where I'd be without her.

mainly messing around from the past month, have jumped once or twice, but only got one crappy clip as it started to pour with rain, her flatwork is still really inconsistent, but she's always going to be my little star, (watch out for her flying change!) i feel like we've become even closer in this past month, we've not taken anything too seriously and its just mainly been big hugs and kisses for ebbles.
