  • It could be done out of relays, without integrated circuits

  • u can do something like this with one switch, one motor and one battery, why so many integrated circuits....

  • You forgot the edge of table detector.

  • @bartec6 you don´t have the spirit. you cant understand it.

  • Impressive work. I would have liked to see the schematics and the programming for the system. It must have taken a little bit of time to do the surface mount electronics.

  • @dsaswq Its a control system. Its looks like there is a small microcontroller that uses PWM into H-Bridge system to control the speed of the car/system. Noticed that the gear ratio have been calculated to decrease the rpms of the motor. The large driven gear had a black tab/stripe for a optical feedback system. This allows the program to tell the position of the wheel.

  • @bartec6 That is true but by doing so you also introduce some new problems as well. The hobbyist way is to just use power to a relay to turn it on and off. The control system way is to make sure using feedback control systems of the rate of expansion and decay if the magnetic field in the relay, control arcing across all its contacts, so that the switching time is approximately sync!

  • goto 1:33 for the best part LOL

  • forget bloody integrated circuits and electronics completely. you could do this with just 2 gears.

  • @ignatei but encoders are certainly not needed

  • next project.. skynet

  • useful.
