Hypocratic Oath

This was the fastest and easiest song I've written thus far, with me only taking 4 days to start and finish it. Here's the lyrics:

Ever since I was younger
I've always been told that if I did the right things
I would get into heaven
And that was fine with me
That's why I treated everyone I knew the same

But then I turned 15
My family starts accusing me of things I've never done
Ironically, they were the ones who taught me how to be
And it's frustrating trying to explain you haven't changed
Negatively, anyway

There's gonna come a time where I must let you know
That everything that you believe is something that I don't
And some that do believe
Have committed greater sins than me

I've never had a problem
With anyone who thinks differently
Than I do
I just wanna be treated equally
Without being criticized by those around me

So cut me some slack
You always know where I'm at
And what's your problem with my friends?
They don't deserve to be thought of like that

If I were any different
I'd probably run away
But lucky for you
I don't know where to go
