  • @acceptthevoid

    maybe he lacked musical skills

  • Das ist eines der bezauberndsten Stücke der Neuen Wiener Schule. Großartig!

  • @guzsaj He also disergarded italians. Who cares? It's an opinion like others.

  • meraviglia delle meraviglie!

  • I see the last comment here was made a year ago. I hope mine won't be the last. The people who express their contempt for this music, probably understand it better than sophisticates that take it for granted, because they recognise something that is alien to our brainwashed pseudo conventional world. Mozart is harder to understand because people let his familiar sounds pass their ears and don't realise that his deptha are sgreat as those of Berg. No music more sublime.

  • @guzsaj really he didnt like atonal music? not that i think he does i just always thought if he heard schoenberg esque music he wold like it thats interesting

  • heard this in venice around 1958 with the veg quartet, amaizing...for me it was the discovery of contemporary music. anybody know about the lirishe suite plaid by the veg quartet???lasalle is great but veg was meraviglioso veramente

  • @guzsaj @velarson Aldous Huxley said "'This, is going to be hell.' But, as it turned out, I was wrong." He was referring to how the piece is played and arranged...the tone of this music, and how, while being on mescaline could bring negative or unwanted thoughts into his head

  • Berg is my favorite of Schoenberg's school of atonalists. What a lovely piece.

  • @guzsaj he said he thought it was going to be hell on mescalin but later found that it sounded rather funny.
