"Retarded" actually is the correct psychological term. It is considered by some to be more politically correct than "mentally disabled," which implies an inability to do things instead of just "slow" (which is all "retarded" actually means). Similarly, "ritardando" (Italian) is a musical term meaning "slow down."
It says a lot that some guy could lie on camera (referring to @beechiegirl's comment) and people would just eat it up. I've never seen such lack of human respect anywhere else. Sad.

Palin is such a joke. The fact that anyone takes her seriously is disturbing and downright scary. Even the wackiest of the right have denounced her, so *who* are the people outside of the "liberal" media that are propping her up?
