@chadschuler2000 get a StarTech USB audio adapter, its like 25 dollars, has speaker output and mic, both work instantly, no need for drivers (kexts) I used for my system.

Good, Good work!!.
I have two Kexts for make it work Audio on Snow:
1)VoodooHDA(one old version)- That makes work Speakers at full increase of volume.
2)VoodooHDA(the newer version from Empire EFI 1.0.8)-
But the speakers sound very very poor, you may need to adjust volume in VoodooHDA.prefpanel in System Preferences.
But with this kext, you have Mic working.
Cuz of this, with this new kext you have the advantage of get working the microphone, but you loose speakers power.
Hope that helps

@Voldemortkein Hey, so when you say the sound is poor do you mean the volume is low or the quality is poor and can you adjust it in the pref pane to have decent sound?

I mean that Volume is low, You may adjust from prefpane this items:
Output, Monitor,iMix and PCM,
But I found a bug on this release of VoodooHDA, when you restart the PC, it doesnt save changes made.
