Roof view of Davis Vantage Pro2 installed on a 2130mm (height) and 42mm (diameter) pipe attached to an inactive chimney. The distance between top edge of the rain collector unit and wind vane is exactly 360mm (min should be 300mm according to user manual). The ISS (460mm tall with 24h fan on) unit is installed at 1440mm and wind cups at 2230mm from the roof's base. The ISS unit is pointed to South and wind vane True North (calibrated so the arm is also pointing to true north as well).

  • Please can you give me your website or wunderground id or both if you have it? Thanks

  • You are lucky to have the height as this will give a good accurate reading. Nice wind blowing to test while installing

  • Is that a solar radiation sensor or UV sensor?
