  • PDK = Fail, why buy a car like this in automatic.

  • @gibbo909 you're right. why would i buy a car that is faster than the manual 997S that you drive, has higher resale value, better gas mileage, and last time i checked...was NOT an automatic? show me the torque converter.

  • @lilo689 have you heard the 430 or the 458 or gto ? come on.

  • @necromancer3232 IMHO Ferrari sounds like "dental clinic tools"...

  • @lilo689 simply NO

  • @hermanuslinssen this Porsche has got dual-clutch, and if you have the 2006 Gen.1 997, you haven't got PDK and 385 bhp, if you got the automatic you have 5-speed Tiptronic S and 355 bhp

  • @TexasLogicStudio we have this car too if this is the porsche 2006 997 convirtable :P we have bron leather and black outside with special exhaust system :D im proud of it haha

  • @IrrationalVideos F1 these days is bullcrap ,i gave up watching because all the automated stuff they added since the 90s. Anyways ,i'm not saying that if you own a PDK you can't drive ,not at all ,but you do know that US mostly drive auto and you even learn to drive in school on auto tranny cars. Not the case here in EU. I know it helps ALOT in high traffic ,no argue there ,but if you buy a Porsche ,you get that to feel the mechanics work while you drive ,if you know what i mean

  • @LordMaxJa I believe many F1 drivers may disagree with you. I suspect at least some F1 drivers believe that they can "drive" even though they use automated manuals. It is a mistake to characterize a PDK owner as a person who can't drive a manual. BTW, I can drive a manual. Sold my manual 997, got tired of sitting in traffic gridlock with a clutch.

  • @TexasLogicStudio Brother ,he's got a point! Stop blaming manual because you can't drive it (i'm generalizing the entire US here ,not just you). Yes it's faster and has a better resale value ,the lower mileage is a joke ,the difference is so small that it cant be counted. But where's the pleasure of driving man? A Porsche with auto tranny is crippled! I can't say i'm driving if i put my foot down ,hold the wheel and look forward, sometimes clicking a button...nope ,not driving

  • @TexasLogicStudio I guess that the resale value differs from country to country. In Germany most owners like to have a manual stickshift instead of the PDK, except for the 911 Turbo or the Panamera and Cayenne.

  • @TexasLogicStudio a car that you paid more for in the first place DOH!
