i am not Mormon, i am christian, but have so blessed to have so many LDS friends. because of my friend Lizzie, taking the time to love and be a great friend and sister in Christ and taking me under her wing and teaching me hymns, and everything she knew i truly believe i am a better person to this day and she as well. thanks Lizzie! beautiful song. while i was at college, we sung this every Sunday while parting from the nursing after we would sing to the wonderful people who lived there.

Such a beautiful hymn. So inspiring and yet so true.This song inspires me because we are going home soon. Jesus is coming very soon. We are the generation of this wonderful Savior's second coming. I am bound for the promised land. I look forward to seeing my Mom and Dad, and loved ones I never got to meet! There are many people out there like me that are waiting. How many of you are waiting? Do any of you sense the second coming?

@squirell1952 Does forgiveness apply to Mussolini and the others you mentioned? Absolutely! However, the only way it would have applied is if they themselves had asked for forgiveness for their attrocities. Neither I nor you can force someone else into asking for forgiveness as that is personal. The Jews most certainly re: Hitler, and as a fact, many have done so. Americans as well re: 9/11. Do Muslims know how to forgive? CHRIST promises to forgive anyone who asks for forgiveness of their sins.

This song reminds me of my uncle who commited suicide. I was always so scared i would never see him again because i thought suicide was a sin. I cry everytime i hear this because i know i will see him again. the church has shown me millions of wonderful things, i'm so greatful i was raised by loving people who believe in God and salvation <3

FINALLY THIS TIME: When Churchgoers ridicule Atheists, Humanists or people of other faiths, they are undoing what they wanted to do in the first place. They are alienating prospective "customers", as it were. Oh, God, if only these people could THINK before they open their GOBS!! Grant up peace from them, oh God, please. I am not as perfect as they claim to be. Here I am, God, warts and all and I ask You for forgiveness for MY sins, not someone elses. THANK YOU, GOD.

FINALLY AGAIN: As Christians, we are told that "to err is human, to forgive is divine". Now, does this act, this sacrament, of forgiveness apply to people like Gaddafi, Hitler, Mussolini - you name them. Could 6,000,000 good Jjewish people forgive Hitler in Heaven? Could Muslims forgive Gaddafi or Israel? Could Americans forgine 9/11? Now, this is the test, the real test, put to you by God Himself when you emigrate to Heaven forever and ever. WHAT ANSWER WILL YOU GIVE TO HIS QUESTIONS???

FINALLY, if we were blemish-free, would not be living in this world. We would be living at the right hand side of God The Father. Not on earth but in Heaven. We need to pray more for fundamentalists of ALL religions who cause bitterness with their messianic complexes. They will thank you personally in Heaven. WAIT AND SEE!!! Imagine meeting Jimmy Swaggart in the next life and shaking hands with him!!

REMEMBER ONE THING: Everytime we run people down for not agreeing to OUR interpretation of the word God, we are committing a sin, another stain on our souls. I don't think God The Father or God The Son would approve of that, now, would they? Why would ANYONE want to ridicule another person's religion. If Mormonism appeals to them - fine. If Catholicism appeals to them - fine. If Judaism or Muslim appeal to them l - fine. BUT LEAVE THE JUDGING BIT UP TO OUR CREATOR. NOBODY ELSE. AMEN

Jesus was laughed at, ridiculed when he was being butchered at the side of the road. People like YOU will have the last laugh WHEN (NOT IF, BUT WHEN) Jesus arrives back. Good God! My twin sister died when we were 1 Year . Obviously I don't remember her My parents/Siblings almost never talked about her .i dont even know what causes of her death.We were both very sick and she died and I made it. Sometimes I know I hate my Life but i guess I should have Respect Gods Plan for me and for her . God be with you til' we meet again Angelita your my Angel . See you at celestial Kingdom i know ur there.but yet i'll do everything to be there with you.
