  • I used to have this record and brochure! It is great that you posted this You Tube video! What I loved about this organ is the Phantom Fingers 2! It was great!

  • Good organ and very nice sound.

  • @rtor6231 I've seen them for as much $375 and as little as $25.

  • I'm recording an EP with this Organ because there is one sitting in the lobby of my dorm at Oberlin College. Its old and beat up and a lot of the functions don't work. I've been using it to fill the role of an analog synth with great success. Does anyone know where I can find out more about it? What year it was made? There is frustratingly little information about it online.

  • This is the radest video on youtube!!!

  • You know the really 'odd' thing ( in reference to my posts 3-4 months ago) is that with the organ ones tastes can develop, even for organs like this. In listening to this post again for some reason it sounds pretty good on the whole. Two organs i don't like the looks of are Lowrey's and Baldwin. People pick on Thomas a lot, but I think they look pretty cool. Lowrey's cabinets are choppy and the tabs colors are too primary. These shiny stickers (look like) on the goofy Baldwin tabs are ugly IMO.

  • Oh' that organ was a Baldwin Ht-2 ( the HT-2r is same w/ rhythm) and was a 32 pedal AGO theater organ. Someone here in Ohio has one for $100 in apparently perfect condition other than the reed voices don't work.

I have lots of organ stuff on my favorites channel on youtube.

I don't know what I was thinking a month ago...yes I do, this fanfare is a little bit of an oddball.

My favorite organ is a Wurlitzer Orgasonic from the 1940's. Patent 2015014 is a detailed look at it. And 2343728 is good.

  • There is only one Baldwin organ I ever heard that sounded any good. There is a classical organist on youtube who plays it and in the video he just bought the organ, but I forget which post, that was a beautiful sounding organ unlike the one on this record. I just bought a Wurlitzer 625T and really like it's sound. I also have a Thomas 263 Californian ( see Librace organ commercial)that puts the organ on this record to shame.

  • All I can say is... at the touch of a finger, fanfare will remember! :)
