Classic late 40's Terrytoon with a star cast, even Carlo Vinci's Krakatoa Katy gets to join the fun. Wonderful Philip Scheib score really embellishes the on screen action, especially once The Giant enters the picture and the following scenes in the castle. I read in the book, Of Mice and Magic that this is film critic, Leonard Maltin's favourite Terrytoon Cartoon. "Comic Books...They're as good as gold!" A DVD release of restored Classic Terrytoon Cartoons is long overdue.
@7DARKHELLS I see that LOL!

Note that Sourpuss' face is prominent in the opening title; during 1949, the studio billed HIM as the star of Gandy's cartoons {cf. "The Covered Pushcart"}. Actual comic book art from Mighty Mouse comics- published by St. John, and drawn by Terry's animators, including Connie Rasinski and Art Bartsch- are featured in the montage at 1:04.

Originally released in early 1950 (before John Foster left the studio, and Tom Morrison {Sourpuss' voice} took over as the studio's story supervisor). Arthur Kay is "Gandy"...
