  • for those 2 games u dont necessarily need to buy a new pc, i know this because i've had same pc since 06, it was basic HP Pavilion wit 512MB of RAM, ati Radeon x200 graphics, no sound card, no gfx card, 17 inch vga monitorand Athlon 64 3400+ CPU (single core) and 300W PSU, this is how it looks now Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (dual core)($200), 4GB or RAM ($80), Diamond 5.1 sound card ($10), 5.1 speakers ($40), Radeon HD 4770 1GB gfx card ($100),19 inch HP flat panel monitor ($100) 500W PSU ($25)

  • Oh :(

Then im going to save up money for a new PC...

  • If you need to play GIRD or Assassin creed or...nice game you need to buy new PC! Update now is not necessary! Because your mainboard is too old, if you update mainboard you must update CPU, RAM, VGA too! So the best way is buy a new PC! Save your money now!

  • Oh yeah...

  • what is maximum system requirement? Check carefully dube! Assasin creed does not recommend you to use P4 for playing! The system requirement that you saw is minimum not maximum! Video games after year 2007 never recommend P4, you need at least dual core CPU at recommend system! Sure!

  • But ive passed maximum system requirements too ..

  • PCI Express can not run AGP card! That is sure! Some first mother board socket 775 model have both AGP and PCI Express slot on it. But now i cant see them on store! Most mainboard now are only have PCI Express, some old models have AGP. When you buy mainboard, read manufacture's info carefully to make sure that board has AGP slot! Good luck!

  • Thank you for the info..

    ! question more.

Can motherboards with PCI-Express run graphic cards with AGP?
