@hookuspookus529 A line-Lock would work too. But a hand adjustable proportioning valve would work just as well as a line-lock.

(OlllO) this is my jeep

@Offroadersdotcom you can just hold the brake pedal down ...if your car/truck has the power it will turn the tires and its not the proportioning valve your thinking of cause you wont get one to completely apply 100% pressure to the front or back there not made that way.....what you must be thinking of is a brake line lock that will hold pressure in the line while the rear wheels are free to spin.....

Did they try soaking the tyres in diesel first, can also happen with cars on methanol and side pipe near the tyres dumping unburnt fuel which then ignites the rubber. Mythbusters is hardly the be all and end all of science. How many burnout vids exist with burning tyres and they are going to claim they are all fake.

that was a brake fire... not a tire fire. i don't remember the myth-busters doing anything related to brake fires.
-
I love how no one trys to put it out

This isnt fake. Anyone remember the old dodge tires the made with small metal spikes in em for traction on ice. That may be wat this is

que ESTUPIDA manera de "DIVERTIRSE"

@ArubaSailing Like Cod up there said, the hand brake is connected to the rear wheels. It's call a brake proportioning valve and it's cranked completely to the forward wheels.
