Congresswoman Michele Bachmann joined Greta Van Susteren to discuss the implications of the tax extension compromise President Obama signed into law. As a leading opponent of the compromise, Bachmann introduced alternative legislation which would extend the current tax rates, lower the current corporate tax to 25% and repeal the estate tax.

  • You sound tired, Mrs. Bachmann. Thanks for doing what you could. Go get some rest and come back ready to rock next year.

  • It's past time to cut taxes, cut handouts and cut the debt.

  • Tea Party Caucus Leader Bachmann Votes for PATRIOT Act

  • bachman is CRAZY AS BATSHIT...is this the BEST the GOP HAS? really......

  • Greta Van Susteren is certainly masculine!

  • This lady is a Great American!

Tragic that even Congress knows Little about USA Founding Documents!!

  • Japan is going to lower their corporate tax by five percent? I am Japanese and I did not know that. Japanese economy will be served well by lowering all taxes! Keep up the good work Congresswoman Bachmann.

  • Sarah Palin is a phony.

She's got all the right rhetoric, but I think she's another Nixon.

Massive tax cuts, massive cuts to executive branch departments to "pay" for them. Combine that with the increased revenue, and it's win-win.

Goodbye FCC, FTC, SEC, ATF, DHS, TSA, HHS... and if we institute a 15% sales tax (ONLY), goodbye IRS.

  • I agree that it is imperative to lower the corporate tax rate to keep our country competitive. The lowering of the social security tax does help every working American and I do like this. I am thinking that perhaps we should find a different way to pay the social security tax. Taxes on workers have been too high.
