Swades: An appreciative Gîtâ looks on pensively but from a respectable distance as Mohan takes leave of the family to run her distant errand (vipralambhâ). Now that her hero has (half-) confessed his love and she feels sorry at having punished him severely for the same, it takes some needling to make her realize that, the vestiges of her vanity notwithstanding, her eyes have already betrayed her for good.

I love this movie, so I'll appreciate anything about it!

I've yet to post the 2nd part of this particular clip, viz., the rest of Gîtâ's song and her sitting on the temple ghats. I find her actual lyrics (losing her path, her self, courtship of the eyes, etc.), esp. at this stage of her psychological evolution, to be very meaningful.
YouTube has been refusing part-2 repeatedly because of "invalid file format" but I'm going to keep trying.
