It's not about the skills, but about trying to bring back the memories.
Peter Pepper the chef moves around the screen walking over the parts of a hamburger. As each item is walked over it drops to the level below. Armed with pepper he can throw on his enemies, he must avoid Mr. Hotdog, Mr. Egg, and Mr. Pickle. Bonuses appear in the forms of ice cream, coffee, and french fries.

  • "It's Burger Time, bitch!"

  • Here is what it was like in the Arcades back then. Every single wall, every single inch of an Arcade place had a Videogame in it, there was just enough room to walk around , on top of that there were people everywhere on every machine with people waiting to play or just watching you play ,sometimes if you were really good there would be a crowd form around you just to watch you beat the high score, oh and if a new game come in , well forget it you better wait about week to get a turn at it..lol

  • Fryin and Buyin

  • speelde dit vroeger altijd in friettent was verslavend

  • this was funnier than actual videogames. Remember playing the old Atari.... ah, the memories.

  • you suck, bunch them and make the buns fall all the way down.

  • This game is available today on the Wii. The game is a classic game pack called "Data East: Arcade Classics." (2007)

It has, of course, Burgertime....but also has Bump n' Jump (Called Burnin' Rubber), Lock n' Chase, Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory (Sequel to Burgertime), and many more. SWEET GAME FOR A GREAT PRICE: $15-20.

  • Wow after linking here from the Atari 2600 version review, this is pretty darn impressive to say the least!

  • Some1 who can play a tad. Best to group ALL of the enemy on the burger b4 dropping it. 4000 each drop on level 1. 8000 on L2, 16000 L3 - L22 which usually got me unless i had 35+ peppers.

1 of them games you clocked and got a man for every point after 990,000

  • Idea: fantastic.

    Graphics: fantastic

    Gameplay: fantastic

    Fun Factor: fantastic

    Music: fantastic

But the music is also why I don't rate this higher. It's way too short before it repeats, and I can't stand it for long. Damn, in my opinion that alone drops this from being an all-time megaclassic. It's catchy, but needed to be longer.

  • Wow! I remember playing this on the NES! Great game!
