Just the name "Class Bravo Airspace" can instill a certain level of fear early in flight training. I've complied all the information you need to operate safely into America's busiest airspace. Radio calls, required equipment, and cloud clearance requirements.

  • What does it mean when you say, I have information zulu, or mike?

    Thanks, Great video!

  • @FSXforeverPilot That's in reference to the weather information. Each hour the report changes and they label it according to the phonetic alphabet. This is to make sure pilots have the most current information. So they're on the same page as the tower

  • @captainramneek I also have never heard a real pilot refer to any rules form their Jepp book. If you want authority in your statement, refer to the latest FAR/AIM. I'll give you an example.

The VFR minimums in class B airspace is 3SM visibility and clear of clouds according to FAR/AIM Section 91.155.

Unless you have Special VFR clearance, for which the rules are outlined in section 91.157

  • @captainramneek Mistakes can be made by anyone, no need to go all crazy and cuss like a uneducated person. "Pilots/Captains?" like you is the problem in the sky, harsh communication, unable to keep cool. Flying in busy airspace can be stressful and it is important to maintain a clear head and communication, which you completely failed even in a non-stressful situation such as watching to a youtube video.
