@orangejulius072 I own an MX5 and was surprised by the good quality and feel of the interior. It feels expensive and well made - solid.

@milesdavisblackmx5 Because Americans are spoiled and fat and cant wait to get to their destination to eat and drink some more...

@mrcardio9r I own a 1995 Miata with the 1.8 128 hp engine. It is the most fun car I have ever driven (and I've driven $1.5 million worth of supercars with the program World Class Driving). You just can't beat the sensation of rowing your own gears and heel-toeing your way through the twisties.
That said, the Miata's engine bay was originally designed to accommodate a larger V6 engine. It would be interesting to see the dynamics between the lighter/nimbler 4-cyl and a more powerful 6-cyl.

Fender flares thanks to the RX 8

If your main concern is 0-60 times because you have a tiny penis buy a V8 Mustang or Camaro. The MX-5 is a drivers car NOT a numbers car for those with tiny penises who feel they need to somehow prove something.

Awesome car!
The MX-5 does NOT need more power and certainly not an extra 100hp. Putting the MS3's motor in an MX-5 would be STUPID. It would make the car front heavy and hence screw up everything that makes the MX-5 so great. Plus a lot of the fun is being able to run through the gears without having to worry so much about running way over the limit. Besides the car is plenty quick enough with 170hp.

who drives with cruise control going 30 mph???

@milesdavisblackmx5 It's a simple point of ergonomics. The average commute in America is most likely longer than most other countries in the world, and with the traffic, you are inevitably drinking (and eating) while driving. Given this fact, it would be nice if car makers would design cup holders that help rather than hinder. Like I said, there is a cup holder to the left of the driver which can be used. The BMW M3 I just tested had great cup holders that actually fold out of the way.
I still think they should have used my tagline..."Mazda Mx-5...For BMW lovers who think that 100 bucks for an oil change is bullshit!"

Great car. It's a car for people who really know about cars.
