Demonstration video showing Arch Linux (x86_64) with KDE 4.24, Firefox 3.0.11, OpenOffice 3.1 (Calc & Writer), Inkscape 0.46, and other useful programs. This video is meant to answer the common question, "Is Linux a suitable substitute for, and ready to replace, Microsoft XP / Vista / Windows 7 in the standard office environment?". The answer is clear: Yes. Linux can save small and large firms millions of $ in software costs, proprietary product licensing, and technical support. Simply install, point and click, and your employees are off to a productive day at work! Linux is faster, more efficient, stable, and secure than any Operating System around today. Its Kernel is updated frequently and contains the latest hardware drivers and technological advancements.

This demonstration was recorded on a HP Compaq Presario CQ50 Laptop, with a 2 GHz Intel Celeron CPU, 2 GB RAM, and a 160 GB Hard Drive. I use and have Arch Linux with the KDE GUI installed and running on it. It's all I ever need for an excellent and rewarding desktop / laptop PC experience.
