The roots of the weeds in the garden of belief in 21st Century superficial political dogma are deep. As we "the People" today, scan the skies with hope that 'some1' will avenge our humiliation we practice willfull ignorance. And by so doing, 'allow' ourselves to be duped, distracted and led away by the errors of our own wickedness. The 'pay' we think is better. What do you mean Nader nagated much of his early work. Are you happy with this current corrupt system of politics? In 2000, the point Nader was trying to make, the point that he is still trying to make, is that we can do better. Nader leveled charges against the politicians in 2000 that have all proven true. He in essence established case law that cannot be refuted and it is now up to us all to hold these crooks, corporations and politicians alike, accountable.

I agree that money has too much influence in politics and citizens should be more involved. But elections matter. Three Republican presidents nominated the justices who gave us Citizens United. Ralph Nader negated much of the good work he did by splitting the progressive vote in 200, so GW Bush won, putting us on the path to Iraq war, Citizens United, Great Recession, deep debt, and stalled progress on the environment. Nader thought his message mattered more than the election's outcome. Wrong!

Agreed Moyers is a true American hero for all he has done over many years to expose the supreme greed and corruption of politicians and corporate whores...Bill is one of the few REAL journalists in the US to actually do his job, unlike so many of the corporate whore in the media today
