Read Deutscher's 3 volume biography - it is excellent.
Avoid Robert Service's book - it's bloody terrible.

Long live the memory of Comrade Trotsky,but I suspect he would be aghast at the lack of fight from millions of workers in these chaotic times.Capitalism is there for the taking,we should be arming ourselves ready for a fight to the death with the elites,yet all we have are Unions organizing pointless peaceful marches & radical Left parties bickering about things that happened 100 years ago!
