put enough water to cover the bottom of a pan, turn flame to medium, drop in the broccoli in. after a 10 minutes the water will be gone so start pouring in the sauce. I generally put in 1/3 of sauce and start tossing the broccoli, turn the flame to high, wait 2-3 minutes to pour the rest of the sauce in. the sauce should thicken after a few mins - thanks cornstarch. cook the broccoli to desired tenderness.

tips: the longer you cook in that sauce the softer it becomes. try to cut up the broccoli into equally sized pieces so that they all cook through the same.

garlic sauce -
3 cloves garlic - minced
1 cup vegetable stock
2 tablespoons chopped scallions
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons sriracha sauce

~400-450 cals, 20g carbs, ?? protein

  • I can't wait to make this myself. I just had some from the local Chinese restaurant and though it couldn't be so difficult to make myself. Thanks for the video

  • Careful with the soy sauce and vegetable stock, the portions you listed in the recipe for the sauce is around 3,000-4,000 mg of sodium. Other than that it looks delicious.

  • this looks good. double points for cooking to Rodney Carrington!

  • THAT looks so good!!! I gotta make this.

  • Tasted delish!

  • God damnit, how did you make the sauce? Just mixed the ingredients?

  • Amazing recipe. I added some shiitake mushrooms and rice because i seemed to have a lot of extra sauce. Thank you.
