You are all missing the point. Kevin Smith is NOT too fat to fly. PERIOD.

He was singled out because SW did not want to load his stuff on the plane because they were running late and were being lazy so they made up an excuse to get him off of the plane.

That's the story folks. Stop pretending you are all nutritionists or airline policy experts.

Maybe if it was Michael Moore,this would be more understandable, but still, this is another example of a lard-ge (sic) person demanding accomodation for what basically is a lifestyle choice, hence the comment about throwing his weight around. Hatemonger? no, just contemptuous of a poor lifestyle choice. And perhaps 2 southwest seats are cheaper than one first class on other airlines, but it was he himself who bragged "hey, I got money" - so he ought to put his money where his mouth is.

A little biased against fat people, guy? Using phrases like "his big obese mouth" and "lard ass" make you sound like a hatemonger. Just because someone has money doesn't mean they have to throw it into the crapper on luxury items/commodities such as first class flights. I'm sure that paying for two commercial-grade seats is much cheaper than one first-class seat. Sure, he's a bit weighty, but this is America and we have people way, WAY heavier than him. He was definitely not in the wrong, guy.

If he has enough money for 2 seats why the heck is he flying southwest? He should put his money where his big obese mouth is and fly first class in a regular airline. What's more, if it was true the pilot asked him to leave, then it is on him to stfu and leave. The pilot has the last word, period. Great movies, Kev, but your lard ass is in the wrong this time. There is a big difference between pulling your weight and throwing it around.
