I agree with comments made by Veena55555, hearts who have have not known the true LOVE, hav'nt lived! And URDU was developed in India long before there was Pakistan, its rich Persian, Arabic, Turkish and Hindi background has made it one of the most widely spoken languages in the world today. Thanks to Bollywood for making Urdu known to the outside world, but falsley they call it HINDI.
A beautiful song based on ever lasting love between Prince Salim(Jahangir) and Anarkali-of course which has no historical evidence. An imaginative love story created by K Asif . Nevertheless the credit goes to lyricists and Lata for making it immortal.
only people who have loved and lost can appreciate the depth and pain of this song, Rest In Peace all those who lost their lives in pursuit of honest n true love .... cos being able to love honestly is the best gift from God ............ after all don't they say it is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all ............
@krizvi8819 Sorry to say that you are NOT aware of other languages and culture. URDU language has its origin in Uttar Pradesh INDIA. Another gift to the world.

One of my favourite songs. But the quality of audio and video is not good.
