This is a fan-made compilation of fragments from Spangas, a daily soap on Dutch public television about the students at Spangalis, a fictive high school in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The compilation is from 13 episodes broadcast November 14-December 15, 2008 available for online viewing at www.spangas.nl. The plot line focuses on two boys in junior high who fall in love with each other.

I created the subtitles because this is a story that everybody in the world should see... It certainly touched my heart, the script is amazing, and so is the boys' acting. As far as I'm concerned, this deserves an International Emmy for best children's and young people's programming!

Spangas is targeted at kids and deals realistically with difficult issues such as religion, race, and sexuality, with great respect and subtle emphasis on varying views.

In the compilation, I added music fragments from the following CDs, available on iTunes and Amazon:

When Flip and Koen are coming out to Flip's twin, and the twin responds (according to the English subtitles): "... you TOO are g...?" Is the translation correct, or does he actually say "... you TWO are g...?"

'Too' would imply he knew his brother was gay, but not that Koen also was.

'Two' would imply he knew neither of them was gay.

Which is it?

I love the little flirty looks flip was giving koen. jasper is so good at those looks. it is like a combination of sweet,flirty and a slight puppydog look all at the same time. It puts me n mind of the flirty looks Igor(deniz) on awz does as well. tobias has to really not be paying attention is he didn't catch that going on right in front of him.
