You fail to recognize it was the North Koreans with Russian weapons and tanks that crossed the border and invaded the south in June of 1950. Not the other way around. Kim predicted it would take three weeks to push the US out of South Korea. As far as capitalism and democracy vs communism, all one has to do is look at how North Korea turned out vs how South Korea turned out. The north is starving and the south has one of the largest economies in the world. Foolish discussion/right?

korean n vietnam war are very alike. both sides want to unite the country. south side had more chance to be rich today like korea for example. but in vietnam back then, south vietnam army wasn't weak. we were ready to attack north but US wouldn't allow us for some reason. then yeah turns out north attack first. villagers in the south were pretty dumb too. thinking US soldiers were invading vietnam then they join north to fight south as well as govt probs. secret of vietnam war rite here hahaha

North Vietnam did not need to send troops to fight the US to kick them out of Vietnam. North Vietnam just stopped invading South Vietnam then the US would withdraw troops from South Vietnam.

The reason they were having a revolution is because they spent so much money helping us and their economy was failing. I don't know if US made the right decision there. NFL was formed by Vietnamese Communist Party in 1960. All cadres of NFL were party members, receiving orders, weapons, money from Communist Party. Some non-communist members of NFL were South Vietnamese but they had no power in NFL. NFL was used as cover for Comm. Party to attack South VN without being seen too obvious to violate Geneva Agreement.
