Cry Wolf 1968

Tony overhears a plot to kidnap the Prime Minister. His history of tall tales is well known, and no one believes him. A young woman, Stella, gains the boy's confidence, but he later discovers that she is part of the scheme. Stella attempts to silence the boy so that the plan can take place without interference.

how long ago was this? and can you get it on video or dvd? Its amazing to think that this is Judy Cornwell aka Daisy from keeping up appearances and now Queenie in Eastenders, hasn't she put on weight though since this was made?

This was released back in 1968. There was a VHS release in the early '80s, but the tape is out of print. As for Ms. Cornwell's weight, well, give her a break. It was 40 years ago. ;)

I tracked this down on e bay and when I watched it I was transformen right back to 1991 and CBBC with silver fox phil schofield.I used to fancy the blonde bird she had me all over the place when I was 13 ! Great films.

Look at the children's film foundation website - all the titles they made our on there - i loved the ones i saw in the eighties but dont know if you can get them on dvd - i was so scared by this one aobut a ghost boy in a cornish tin mine - my mum suggested i didn't watch the next week one - the time travel one - and i saw a witch and i thought i would be scared again and was.
