Murphy and Helen Hull Invest $10 Million in Humber River Regional Hospital and its future

May 27th, 2009 - The entire Hull family were present at a ceremony celebrating their outstanding generosity and long service to Humber River Regional Hospital. One million dollars of the gift is directed to gastroenterology and nine million toward robotic technology. The Finch street site of Humber River Regional Hospital is built on property that once belonged to the late Murphy Hull. He was instrumental in seeing the hospital develop and served on the hospital's board for many years. Murphy Hull passed away June 27th, 2008 shortly after making his gift intention known.
