The 2nd year of the Honobia Bigfoot Conference was a smashing success, with Dr. Jeff Meldrum giving several presentations, signing his book, Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, and visiting the MABRC Base Camp in the hills where he sat at the Campfire with us for most of the night.
There was lots of excitement, and it's all on a PCDVD that you can buy for $19.95 at the MABRC Forums at http://www.mid-americabigfoot.com/phpbb3/honobia.php shipping and handling is included in the price of the PCDVD (Must have a DVD drive on your computer to view it)from all the presentations, this PCDVD is a must to have for any collection about Bigfoot.

@seymourbbest I once saw Richard Dawkins give a talk on memetics... I wonder if you would extend the same criticism to Dawkins' presentation?

How do you have a conference about something that doesn't have one speck of scientific evidence that shows it even exists? When is the next unicorn convention? I wanna go!

All I can say is to keep up the good fight . It will be people like yourselves that will eventually unravel this great mystery. People like you that are actually out there and spending the time in the field and putting real effort into this. I only wish I could be there with you.

I first became interested in this subject in two movies a few years before "The Legend of Boggy Creek". First was "The Mysterious Monsters", that includes the quintessential scene of all Bigfoot movies, (in my opinion) the lady watching TV in her living room and a shadow of Bigfoot appearing through the window behind her. And my all time favorite bigfoot movie, "Sasquatch, The Legend of Bigfoot". I do want to attend one of these conferences someday. Perhaps even host a BF film festival.

At least you slept. I could not sleep for a couple of nights. I went into the woods and just sat there, hoping to see one. I've been hooked ever since. Now I am a researcher.
