Yes you can and yes, it is free as long as you have wireless internet at home.
I'd invest in the PSP-1000 (FAT) as it's a lot more durable.

i just got my PSP 2000 silver today with a 4 gig memory stick so i can play Kingdom Hearts:Birth By Sleep comming out soon in english XD

YESSS i said the same when i got the 3k,, its CHEAP,, but really if yu take care of it its a good psp its not like it will break easily altho my gtpsp 3k bundles stopped reading umds a few weeks after i got it,, sony gave me a new one,, with acceseroies,, like a case and strap,, (i lost me screen protector tho) lol

@ctophman hes right i loved the 1k and still do but the slim an 3k truly are more portable and lightweight,, ther awesome,, i have 1 of every psp,, shud I** make a vid myself with comparisons? lol i have a go as well

What is better? The Slim or the fat? I have a psp slim silver, but Im thinking of trying to trade for a fat one. The slim feels so... cheap.... Should I try and trade? Are all 2000's slim? Whats the upside of the slim?
