I managed to open my ipod, and found out why the lock was tuck in lock and I could not use the ipod anymore: one contact of the lock button on the circuit got loose. Now I just need to find someone with the smallest welder to reattach it. Or should I not bother as such precision work can only done by professionals?

@andergra000 Try prying it open near the bottom, then wedge something in there and gently wiggle the back and front apart until more clips pop open. Then use your guitar pick or whatnot to get the rest of them.
