This project uses 40 red LEDS controlled by the Atmel ATmega168 and 12 wires, and powered by a 9 volt battery. The project was modified from the original "LED Heart" project found at www.nerdkits.com. This prototype with breadboard and PDIP size MCU will be made more permanent with a TQFP size MCU and a 2X2 Schmartboard, all mounted under the lid.
