  • This is great, but I really wish you hadn't put the bird and wind noises in the background. They really detract from just the music. Do you think you could post the same piece, but without the effects?

  • @classicnorthwest I'll wait if Youtube will make it possible in the same video.

  • What interests me most here is the photographer's name! The pictures are wonderful, but are they taken by berrik500?

Grieg's music is as always beautiful.

  • @louisalit No, I take them from internet : Norway

  • This was a really well-crafted video, and I'm so glad you didn't cut it off, as it's such a beautiful piece of music. Very, very well done, and I didn't find the few bird noises distracting at all. Now I want to go to Norway! :-))

  • Great piece!

  • excellent! one of those works you put in yout top10 ever! great, unforgettable, absolutely moving!

  • wow, it really seems to be the best ever

  • I love this music

  • Every time, as soon as the music starts playing, I get goosebumps all over... This is one of the great classical works!

  • Great! It is spelled "Aase" (Ah-suh) though, and rhymes with "awesome".

  • Even better than Cardenas beautiful reading: truly THIS is the ultimate winner - I only wish that the nature sounds of wind, rain, thunder, etc. had been left out! Otherwise, 5/5 and then some!!

  • You are right! Best performance ever. High time to remaster this performance with Ilse Hollweg singing and choire on CD.

  • you could well be right-beautiful images,too

  • Das Arrangement ist wunderschön,mich stören nur die Hintergrundgeräusche etwas. Trotzdem eines der wundervollsten klassischen Werke.
