Miatas @ Hallett - Friday 1/2 day 1st run (very rusty! - not the fastest run)

Here's a video of my 1st run on Friday. I had not been on a track for a year, so you could say I was very very rusty ( I almost lost the car on turn 1 - tires were cold and I went in too hot) We pretty much took it easy this first session, but you get a good feel of the track. I broke off early to adjust my tire pressures (they got pretty high, making the car very skiddish., I came in 2 more times during that first run to bring them down even more as the tires heated up. Once I got the pressures dialed in, I was able to play more aggressively.

That's Steve in the black / white stripes stock NA, and my brother with his super charged Copper / cream stripes NA.

The entire weekend was a lot of fun. By the time I was on my last run on Saturday I felt like I had every turn 'nailed' and was pretty much driving on the edge (when I wasn't coasting it a bit letting the car cool off... after all, I needed it to stay in one piece, since I had to drive it back home to Memphis).

The video is from a cheap ZI8 hi-def camera. I does have anti-shake, but you can tell is doesn't work very well. I have to work on the audio - it is there, but it is very very low. My external mic may be bad. Enjoy!
