New (2010) Woodlandlia' product for log home builders: the log lathe LL-31 intended for turning raw barked stems or cants into cylindrical dowels with lateral groove of Swedish cope (or other custom profile) and lateral kerfing saw cut, used as house logs.
@tallbergs why don't you teach those young lads to make the log turner instead of being afraid of technology.

@ollenbergerstudios I'm not hating, My way is better in every
aspect. It looks better, is faster, puts more humans to work and
you don't have to buy a big stupid machine.
If that makes me a "Hater" well, count me in.
Given a choice between buying a machine that makes
every log look alike and teaching strong young lads
how to craft a house out of a pile of logs I'll choose
the latter every time.

I'm guessing you can't pick one of these up at the Home Depot.

35 years a log builder and turned logs are gay,,,,, granted it's an ugly log
but it would be much faster to slab off two sides and use the round sides
top and bottom with dovetail ends and a 3" chink joint will be just as tight
as the cove.

@oneyaker Probably not a guy's kind of colour scheme... Interesting vid though. Takes a pretty chunky cut too.

Uploaded not even a year ago and the highest quality you can give us is 240p???? Seriously you guys need to get a professional studio to do your video work. If the product was something homemade from or for a hobbyist I wouldn't say this, but from the video I can see it is a top notch product, your advertising should be up there as well to better represent the product and the company. It would certainly increase sales if not reputation. Thanks for the effort I do appreciate the work attempted.
