@sweeetly I said I disagree about Old testament be said as not representation of what religion call God. Most religions use that all the time. As a Atheist I see that as psychotic, due the anger and criminal allusions on it.

But if you use and pratice just the nice segments from New testament, and don't use the anger and prejudice of the old, you may be a good person. Saddly most people use as convenience, or a mental masturbation.

Well I was raised a catholic and hated it.

The word God is buried in cliches so I prefer Prime Source. But God is real to me only by direct experience i had as a child and agan as a teen. It was most awesome ;D To me its more real than the pc I'm using to type on.

@jerryaltman I read the Bible, the Old testiment seems not to be about God at all.

The new testiment is about love.

Maybe its supposed to be that way for the contrast.

I also heard that the cruel God of the Old test is really about some sociopathic alien race as in Ezekiel where they speak of gods coming from the sky and causing distruction and inpregnating human women.

Anyway, God is Love, thats what know.
