the moody blues melancholy man moody blues I'm a melancholy man

the moody blues melancholy man lyrics ;

I'm a melancholy man.
That's what I am,
All the world surrounds me,
And my feet are on the ground.
I'm a very lonely man,
Doing what I can,
All the world astounds me,
And I think I understand.
That we're going,
To keep growing,
Wait and see.

When all the stars are falling down,
Into the sea and on the ground,
And angry voices carry on the wind.
A beam of light will fill your head,
And you'll remember what's been said,
By all the good men this world's ever known.
Another man is what you'll see,
Who looks like you and looks like me,
And yet somehow he will not feel the same.
His life caught up in misery,
He doesn't think like you and me,
'Cos he can't see what you and I can see.

When all the stars are falling down,
Into the sea and on the ground,
And angry voices carry on the wind.
A beam of light will fill your head,
And you'll remember what's been said,
By all the good men this world's ever known.
Another man is what you'll see,
Who looks like you and looks like me,
And yet somehow he will not feel the same,
His life caught up in misery,
He doesn't think like you and me, A melancholy man.
'Cos he can't see what you and I can see. A very lonely man.

When all the stars are falling down,
Into the sea and on the ground,
And angry voices carry on the wind.
A beam of light will fill your head,
And you'll remember what's been said,
By all the good men this world's ever known.
Another man is what you'll see,
Who looks like you and looks like me,
And yet somehow he will not feel the same.
His life caught up in misery,
He doesn't think like you and me,
'Cos he can't see what you and I can see.

  • besides "nights in white satin' ", "I'm a melancholy man" are most loved songs by me, among all of others from the moody blues since 44 years. as once it's said they were tiniest symphonic orchestra on the earth. still listening and getting melancholy... special thanks to 'buyuck' for all nice photos. love, justice, peace on human kind on earth...(hopefully)

  • Great music and pics.

  • I remember listening to this song while on road trips with my momma and dad back in the 80's! :) Though this song scared me as a kid for some reason.

  • Me too at 57. I loved and love them still. They are the best.

  • very well done indeed

  • Very nicely done! Love the way you did the color tones--the images fit so well with the song.
