I have a buddy who had that Marantz CD player, but it quit working so he got rid of it. It only played up to 15 tracks if I remember correctly.

Theres reason were called audiophiles.
Its because we listen to music on machines that dont sound like shit your not cus you buy Cds because marketing tells you its the best its not the only thing it has that analog doesnt have is that its shiney ont the bottom thats it, the sound and playback quality is shiting for the birds that and the machines look & sound like shit.

And that's $649 in 1984 dollars. In today's money that would be about $1500 maybe.
