WSPA's 2008 Achievements

In 2008, the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) was able to accomplish some truly incredible things in 2008, reaching out to animals in all corners of the globe to achieve real results.

WSPA is opposed to the taking of animals from the wild for their fur or skins, and to the farming of animals for the same purpose. We consider it morally indefensible to subject animals to suffering and death for fur or skin products, which are non-essential luxury goods.

However, fur is not one of the issues that WSPA is currently focused on but our member societies can be a great resource for information on issues on which WSPA does not directly campaign.

Great stuff. It's hard to believe that people still harm animals in today's day and age.

I am 15 and I have donated over $600 to animal charities (mostly to WSPA) and am happy to do it!

I think it's great that white people are going world wide to keep non whites from abusing animals. But there is only so much whites can do, being less than 8% of the world's population. As the US becomes majority non-white, animal cruelty will become the norm here.
