To end this week of The Price is Right's 40th Season, the so-called "unluckiest day of the year" that fell on the unusual month of January had contestants play for the following prizes and Pricing Games:

-$10,000 in cash for the contestant that had a 1 out of 8 chance of finding the box in 1/2 Off

-A 2012 Kia Soul as the car in Money Game

-A trip to South Carolina as the prize in Hi-Lo, valued at $6,333

-An Italian leather sectional sofa from LAFurniture.com with a 3 piece table set and 1 Year of Organic Bouquet flowers as the prize package in Double Prices

-A fully automatic Cuisinart ice cream machine, his and her Cal Pak hard-sided luggage from the Andover Collection, and a 2012 Kia Forte Koup EX as the three prizes in 10 Chances

-A 32" all weather outdoor 720p LCD HDTV from SunBriteTV.com, a 2 person infrared sauna from Lux Sauna, and a firepit coffee table as the three prizes in One Wrong Price, where the contestant believed the outdoor HDTV had the incorrect cost

Out of the 6 Pricing Games played today on Friday the 13th, two results had the Losing Horns. Which Pricing Games were they?

  • I thought for sure there was no chance in hell of 10 Chances being won after all those stupid bids on the luggage. But the ARP of the luggage surprised me. I thought it was $850. Rules of thumb: prices of the prizes in 10 Chances will almost always end in a '0'.

Epic fail in 1/2 Off. A major facepalm moment in my veiw.

  • @neilrocks87 $850 is what I thought the price of the luggage was. Never really thought $810 oh and if Bob Barker was still the star, he'd probably say something in the lines of "We are in the presence of a miracle" after getting the luggage in 6 chances and the car in 1 chance.

As for 1/2 Off, MAJOR epic fail with that corn stripper. I should have used my sound clip of The Miz asking "Really?" on that part but oh well...

  • You kind of cut out at the announcement of the total amount Linda won in One Wrong Price. And for this edition of Friday the 13th only 1/2 Off and Double Prices were the 2 losers of the day with 10 Chances Hi-Lo and Money Game all ending their long losing streaks. We had ourselves a nice rebound from yesterday 4-2 to end the week a pretty good day I gotta say.

  • @Sportsguy528 The total from One Wrong Price is in my "Unfinished Business" video for Friday the 13th but yeah, an awesome show with four games won

  • @Gimperman I didn't really think the batteries would die on me as I put fresh ones in recently. I guess it was the lengthy results on some of the Pricing Games such as 1/2 Off, Hi-Lo, and Ten Chances. Anyway, I accept your apology on you thinking I got offended on your comment.

  • @mrhorgan What I meant to say was the way the tape was cut off @ the end.

  • @Gimperman Shame on me for what?

  • To Mr. Horgan: SHAME ON YOU!!! (Sorry if I offended U.)

  • I've made a couple of corrections that was in my preview:

#1, from Money Game the model for the 2012 Kia Soul was actually Manuela, not Gwendolyn.

#2, from 10 Chances the model for the ice cream machine and the luggage was actually Manuela, not Gwendolyn.

    Sorry for my corrections.
