  • About $1000. There are a wide array of lights to choose from at all different price points. Plus craigslist is a good play to look for used stuff.

  • What speakers were you using for this event?

  • @Huppy105

Makcie SRM 450's. Just bout QSC K10's and love them. They are lighter and louder than Mackies.

  • hey bro wats da song name at 3:04?

  • Cha Cha Slide-Casper

  • School discos are easy, just take a printed copy of the top 40 chart.

  • picking fights on youtube is just sad bro, it's not easy doing school dances and trust me, his show was obviously good or else everyone you saw on the dance floor would have left. Keep up the good work blazindj!

  • @djaward I am not sure if you know this now or still want to know. But the 3 rd light from left to right looks like the Chauvet vue 3 .. I have on of these and there awsome.. the only downfall to me is bulky but you can sit on the floor on top of a table to shine on the ceiling or place on a light truss to shine on the dance floor.

  • well that was feeble sorry to say theres not alot there is there two speakers for a school dance there young they like it load and bright and loads of bass and thos little babys of speakers just dont cut it get some bins on the floor get a better light bar i have to admit gd light's but lacking i find school disco is easy cause there kids and they will dance to anythink with a good beat line mostly chart hitters or ex chart an easy nite now a wedding with mixed crowd now thats a harder night

  • Whats the name of the 3rd light (from left to right)

  • Loved the set-up. Looks simple but very effective.

Are any of the lights LED, as they seem too bright to be LED? If not LED, then do you have to turn the off several times during the evening to let them cool down? Can you tell me the names of the Lights? Approx cost for lights and T-Stand? Do you need a special controller to run them? Just trying to learn more about buying and the type of lights available. I like your lights.

  • nice set up mate. I need to step up my system.

  • man i miss dj at gigs, its alot of hard work the whole set up process id always have help, i co-own a night club now, just some friendly advice, you should get some subs and a little more lighting other then that keep it up!

also whoever said school gigs are easy just print a top 40 list LOL you can never have to much music always keep your library up to date and not just whats hot...alot of people like older songs too
